Halftime

Today Ben had a birthday party. Afterwards, we hung out and snaked and watched some football. Here's a shot at halftime:

enjoying Fall

Last weekend we had Fall fun in the Berkshires with the ultimate pumpkin picking experience.


We went off into the pumpkin patch at Howden Farms in Sheffield Mass. We fell in love with not one, not two but three L A R G E pumpkins...

So Jake and daddy went to search for a wheel barrow. Once they came back, Ben showed them exactly where we placed our pumpkins.

and the kids too....


Jake thought he was Hercules...

There were little pumpkins to get too..




so we got lots~
Then we went raspberry picking.


The bushes were right next to the pumpkin patch.
Jake figured out that he can just snack right from the bushes...and he helped fill the pints. Ben loved it too! Then we went to Grandma Sunny's house for brunch. We gave her a baby pumpking and took home about 7 total for us!

School and Truck Day

Jake started school! Mommy and Me on Friday mornings. I'm the Class Mom. The first week (last week) was insane because the classroom was overwhelming. Today he did so much better - he even baked a chocolate cake. He helped mix all the ingredients..it was quite impressive! Here he is on his first day:::


Then we went to Truck Day in Larchmont. Uncle Dan was here to visit..

Ben climbed into most trucks with the help of Daddy and Uncle Dan..


We even got to go 'in them' - that's not Ben next to me but apparently another kids who plays in the same soccer league!

There were hot dogs so the kids had a mock picnic...

Ben even bumped into a few buddies from school...here's him and Adam discussing what they think a certain truck is used for...(check out Ben's expression..)
