L'Shana Tova

We are in the midst of the jewish High Holidays. We had 12 adults and 4 kids for dinner. It was hectic but fun. Hours after the Goldsteins left, Lorri went into labor and welcomed their third girl, Lexi Blake at 4:48 am. We thought she would go into labor at our house since my water broke at theirs over Passover..phew! Congrats to Ellie and Abby on their brand new little sister!

The next day Steve and Ben did Kinderkickers

then headed to Rosh Hashana services. Jake stayed behind with me to finish getting over an ear infection that knocked him out. He was good to go the next day though...check out this tie...
And there were apples to wish all a sweet New Year...

Ben now wants to wear a neck-tie just like Daddy and Jake!! So off i went to Lesters first thing on Monday and found a cute one..and then we needed the shirt..so here is the finished product.. to be presented Monday on Yom Kippur..

Jake has learned a few new tricks..one is climbing into his high chair....but he can't get down so he cries. he also is talking A LOT:: and dancing..watch these two quick videos..

Ben Goes To Yankee Stadium

Ben had the BEST day~ at Yankee Stadium. Of course he was most excited about taking the subway with Alex to the stadium... Ben ate his way through 9 innings including a hot dog and chips, cotton candy, popcorn and Cracker Jacks...not to mention a 20 oz lemonade. [belly ache will likely come tomorrow when we are both at work :( ]
The seats were amazing (waiter service) and a friend even called me to tell me she saw Ben on TV!! So we are recording the encore game at midnight and will find Ben and show him how famous he is.
He loved it!!

Steve worked this morning at home so Me and the Boys went on an adventure to Muscoot Farms in Katonah, NY. We were there early and got to see all the animals!! We went to the Farm Museum on the premises..Ben was more excited to just get out there and see the live stuff...so was Jake

lots to see...

they loved this tractor... (good thing Hay Rides weren't happening til noon b/c mommy wasn't sure how she'd handle these boys on one so we will return with daddy!

Jake rather go off with another family....so he did!

Ben likes the Cows and Jake liked the roosters (because he could talk back to them), chickens and ducks...
We also bumped into The Goldsteins!! Finally, we checked out the Farmer's Market to support the local economy..Ben enjoyedh is Pickle-on-a-Stick

Jake conked out in the car within 10 minutes of our departure.... then we headed home for lunch!

Kensico Dam and Lasties at the Pool!!

What a weekend. We are savoring the last of summer and with the great weather, we took advantage Saturday we headed to Kensico Dam Plaza where the kids played in the playground and then we all walked along the Dam. We also did some hiking (steve carried 30lbs of jake!)

Here we were taking a pic of mommy and the boys...
and "you know who" ran off...

The afternoon was spent getting out last licks in at the pool. The water was chilly but that didn't stop 'em

Ben loves his dive sticks....

These boys love each other!
