Going, Going, Going.

Jake is almost walking..he has one very clear word...here's a video..check it out
. Jake had his first hair cut today, though mommy and daddy completely disagreed as to whether he really needed it . . and a short clip...

Jake got a chair from us for his birthday. Everyone enjoyed setting it up..

Voyage to Michigan

Last weekend was spent in Michigan. Daddy was already in Detroit playing business. Mommy flew with the boys Thursday morning. It went great! Ben and Jake loved playing with Cousin Eli and all his toys. The den was trashed and the clean-up was do-able!! We had a busy weekend. First, we went from the Airport back to their house, then picked up Eli and went to Ben's favorite place, Jungle Java. Friday we went to the Library (which was more like a museum) and out to lunch. Daddy joined us Friday night for Shabbat and we just hung out all day Saturday. Mother's Day, it was back to NY! The cutest was then all the kids played, checkers, cards, gambling!!Check out our short video.

Jake Turns 1!!

Its been a while since we posted. We've been to the Circus at Madison Square Garden...we sat in Steve's company's box. Ben enjoyed all-you-can-eat chicken fingers, mozz sticks, cracker jacks, cupcakes, juice, etc! Mommy spent the entire time running after Jake and only caught a glimpse of the elephants ;)

Hmmm, what else..

Jakes First Birthday was a blast. It was over 90 degrees so we made use of the water table and outside toys, and had all the kids eat on our porch ;). Mommy made all the food and baked all the cookies...no the cake though!! Jake did enjoy a confetti cupcake with cream cheese frosting...all of it

Jake had so much fun. Despite being around tons of people, he was all smiles (a far CRY from where we started off this glorious year)

serously, Jake took a step towards mommy last night. It maybe was a half-step, so he will be walking in no time. Get Ready!!

Ben had a great time and showed restraint when Jakes presents were opened. Infact, he helped open them. Well, with his own birthday coming up, he needed the practice.

Ben entertained all the ladies.

A little out of order but Steve put the Chex down on the coffee table thinking Jake would snack...this is what happened..

our next adventure is to Detroit. I'll be taking both kids by myself on the plane and steve will already be there for business. Stay tuned...
