Challenges

Jake is climbing up on everything and anything. His newest thing is opening ben's sock drawer and taking the socks and then crawling away with him them..i'll post that pic later. Here's a video from this morning.....

New Pet

Ben received a coupon for a grow-a-frog for his birthday. We finally redeemed it and it came via mail on Thurs. It's Saturday and still alive! Horray!! Ben named it Bread Tea (like Tea Leoni the actress, not the drink) Chapman. He slept in Ben's room and Ben was given strict instructions not to feed it anything other than the tadpole food mommy give it and NOT to put it in Jakes reach!

Ben goes Skiing

We finally got Ben on the slopes. He was booked for a private lesson this morning at 9:30. Steve dropped us off and then took Jake back to nap. Ben and I went through the Ski Rental house and got him all the necessities. Here are two shot videos and a couple of still pics.



















Just to re-cap...Ben was obsessed with the chair lift and begged me afterwards to take him on there but he isn't ready. Instesd, the bunny slope has "Magic Carpet" which is a people mover..they are all over the mountain so we did that. We are going again in two weeks so who knows that that will bring.

Good Times

Aunt jenny, baby cousin Eli (who is not such a baby anymore!) and Uncle Brian came to visit...it was so much fun. We ate chinese food, pizza and plenty of Stew Leonards corn muffins.




Ben had picture day today..he was looking soooo handsome!



Jake started his gym class..it was cute..he is by far the youngest (he's in a class of 11-18 month olds) but he was keeping up just fine!
He's sure to be walking in no time!

After Ben's gym class tomorrow, we are headed to Great Barrington. Ben is all signed up for a private ski lesson at Butternut on Sunday morning! We will see how that goes..hopefully he likes it for mommy's sake...

Superbowl Sunday

We're waiting for Cousin Eli and Aunt Jenny and Uncle Brian to visit us. They flew in early this morning and will be spending the night! What a treat!! Ben baked brownies.



It was a fun week..Ben helped daddy shovel snow and he even had a snow day...
